What is FOCHES?
FOCHES is a group of home schooling families in Brookings, SD and the
surrounding
communities.
FOCHES stands for Fellowship of Christian Home Educated Students.
Our membership includes
families that have been home schooling for several years,
and
others just getting started

Student Groups & Activities
Students whose families are members of FOCHES can participate in classes
and activities coordinated by our group leaders:
Field Trips, Spelling & Geography Bees, Art
& Drama
classes,
Physical Education, Journalism, Band, Math Counts, Science Fairs & more!
Arrows (6th-8th) based on Psalm 127:4; and Eagles (9th-12th)
based on Isaiah 40:31.
FOCHES also plans special family activities, including a fall picnic and
camping trip, and fellowship times for Moms and Dads.

Our Statement of Faith
Membership in FOCHES is open to any home-schooling family in our area, but
in order to vote, teach, or hold office in the group, we ask that you sign
the following Statement of Faith each year. To read our Statement of

Membership
Membership in
FOCHES is $25 per family each year.
Members receive a directory and calendar, as well as access to our
email group which we use to share information and encourage one another.
